MBS TRAVELING EXHIBIT

To promote knowledge of miniature books, the MBS has created a traveling exhibit showcasing modern masterpieces as well as historic examples. This self-contained exhibit is available to libraries, schools, and other institutions at no rental fee, just shipping charges. Each year new books are added, while others are taken out for preservation and restoration. The traveling exhibit also includes books from the Miniature Book Society’s annual Competition.

The original traveling exhibit was created in 1987 by Frank Anderson and James Yarnell, and that display traveled throughout the United States until 2004 when a new display was created. In 2004, a second traveling display was created, which remained in service until 2009.

In early 2010, the newest exhibit began touring. For information about dates and locations, as well as inquiries about securing a reservation for the exhibit,  contact Todd Sommerfeld, Coordinator, at MBSexhibit@gmail.com.
